"I've been expecting you..." The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) Please join us for TLA's 2020 Annual Conference at the beautiful Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort in Amelia Island, Florida. The conference will provide you with an industry perspective on each of the CLE panels. In order to serve our clients better, we need to learn more about the business issues that impact business decisions. With a fun 007 theme, this year’s program will bring that perspective while keeping us abreast of the changes in all aspects of our practices. In addition to the education, there will be plenty of networking opportunities at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort including a welcome reception on the beach, networking dinners, the much antipicated awards banquet and a closing reception that will overlook the marshlands of the resort. Cancellation Policy: Written notice of cancellations received on or before March 2, 2020 will be fully refunded. A $200 cancellation fee will be assessed on registrations canceled from March 3 through April 9, 2020. After April 10, cancellations will not be accepted. Substitutions will be allowed, but must be requested in writing no later than April 30, 2020 to [email protected]. Transportation: Jacksonville International Airport is approximately 30 miles from the hotel and provides easy access to the Omni Amelia Island. Transportation options to/from the airport include renting a car (fees vary by car rental company), taking a taxi, or using a ride sharing service like Uber or Lyft. Valet parking is available for $27 per night. Weather In late spring the average daytime temperature on Amelia Island is in the high 70s, and lows dip into the 50s at night. Banquet will be a James Bond theme. • Saturday Night – Closing Event – Casual Continuing Legal Education Accreditation has been requested for the 2020 TLA Annual Conference from every state and some provinces in Canada with mandatory continuing legal education (CLE) requirements.
